Strategic Planning
Highline Medical Center is a community hospital in Burien, Washington, with a significant cardiac care practice. In 2004, Highline was interested in developing a Wellness Center as a means to identify those who were at risk for cardiac disease earlier in the disease progression. In 2004, Roberta worked with St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada to identify benchmarks that could be used for program measures for the proposed HMC hospital wellness program. Roberta's work integrated a preliminary feasibility study into an implementation blueprint, analyzing start-up costs, as well as operation expenses, and revenue streams from new services.
